Scott is from Monroe, NC (AKA God’s Country) and is the husband of Judith and father of Chris, Anna, Maggie, and Daniel, and father-in-law to Dayna. Scott received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in music and pastoral ministry from the College at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Before answering the call to ministry, Scott worked in the automobile dealership industry for over 20 years. His hobbies are spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching the Duke Blue Devils and the Tennessee Volunteers.
