CrossFire Youth Ministries

Thank you for visiting our Youth web page. My name is Nathan Redinger I am the youth pastor here at Kennebec Baptist. We would like to welcome you to be a part of our youth ministry. We have many great opportunities for you to serve Christ here at Kennebec. We have several mission projects offered throughout the year as well as many exciting retreats and events. Some of these events include ski trips, beach trips, Christian concerts, and many fellowship activities offered throughout the year. But most importantly we seek to win, encourage, and disciple students to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Why are we called Crossfire student ministry?

Because “It is our desire that Christ will burn in our hearts like a consuming Fire.”

Where does this name come from? Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming Fire.”

What is the purpose of our youth ministry here at Kennebec Baptist?

The Youth ministry at Kennebec Baptist Church exists to tell Christ’s love, to exalt Christ as Savior, to help other students grow, to enjoy others, and to offer ourselves to others.

Our theme verse for the year is Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

Ministry Opportunities

1. Evangelism Ministry: Consists of youth who have a heart to go out and share Jesus.

2. Drama Ministry: Consists of youth who are interested in Drama.

*The Youth program is for ages 6th through 12th grade. There is not a "dress" code, just that clothes be modest and appropriate for church.
